Coup d'éclat.

In French, there's a word called coup d'éclat. It's when someone is trying to create something that will impress other people by its accomplishment, its novelty in its field and that finally manages to reach its goal. In that case, Mind Game is a visual coup d'éclat. It's always audacious in visual terms without being flashy, it wants to impress and manages to do so. Just like Akira in its time, Mind Game is a coup d'éclat. An instant classic.
